Summer is almost here! And with the warmer days brings the desire to be outdoors! So what does this mean for The Knotty Knittress you ask? There will be no Sunday Classes June - August. We will resume those in September. We will however have a knitting 101 and crochet 101 class each month held during the week days, see here for dates and times.
We are also having a Summer Sweater course. Whether it's your first knit sweater or you would like to improve your skills and make a sweater that fits well. All the details can be found here. We will start the summer off with taking your measurements and gauge watching, and end it with a beautiful sweater for you to wear as the weather turns to fall. Secure your spot today.
Slow Yarn Crawl has started! Running through September 2nd, be sure to come get your passport stamped, get your free patterns, and enter to win our in store giveaway.
We will be Closed on Saturday June 1st. My two oldest Children are Graduating from High School! We are so very excited to attend this significant occasion, and we do apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.
Speaking of June 1st it is the start of WIP BINGO hosted by Cerulean Orchid. This virtual bingo game runs through June 30th. Clear out some of those languishing works in progress and check off a square and have fun doing it. Stop in and grab your bingo card for all the details. And join our Stitch gatherings each Saturday through the month (except June 1st we will be closed as stated above)
Saturday June 8th is World Wide Knit in Public Day so be sure to take your knitting in public with you. We will have a few chairs set up outside if you'd like to stop by and knit a few rows. We will have snacks, water, and a free goodie for everyone who stops in.
