Stitch Holder Cords are great for whenever you need to put stitches on hold! Whether its for splitting the sleeves of a sweater, a provisional cast on, or you want to try a garment on without dropping your stitches!

The end of the cord squishes firmly over most size needles, from US 0 (2mm) to US 15* (10mm). After it is attached to your needle tip, gently slide stitches on to the Stitch Holder Cord so you can try your garment on. When you are done, push all of the stitches back onto the needle and pull off the tubing. Also great for trying on smaller accessory items like hats, gloves/mittens, socks, etc.

Assorted colors. 2 x 50 inch cords come in a screw top tin for storage. 2 x ≈ 18 inch does not include tin.

* Fitting may depend on amount of pressure used to get the Stitch Holder Cord onto your needle tip. Larger size fittings generally are achieved on more pointed tips, such as HiyaHiya Sharps or ChiaoGoo Red Lace. Tips such as Addi and Lykke which are more blunt may only fit up to size 8.

Should your Stitch Hold Cord become bent or misshaped, simply place into boiling water for 20 seconds for full recovery.
